Hello all,

So my dolly currently has no headlining and a webasto style roof in need of renovation.

I have had one quote so far to fix the mechanism, reskin and the webasto and fit a headlining.

It came in at £1500 including the vat. does this seem steep or roughly what I will be looking at?

The chap does seem to know what hes talking about. I am in the process of getting other quotes too but has anyone else had a similar job undertaken?

Thanks.

James

That sounds resonable? I fancied having a new one fitted in mine, and it came out at £2000 and my headling was ok.
Also a complete one went for around £1200 pounds on flea bay with minor damage and that was without fitting. Although it was new old stock.
Cheers, Tony.

last year (November) I was quoted approx £600 to restore and recover my Britax sunroof (webasto). this included a new front and rear nose plate and lined with the same off white material as my headliner. The locking mech is ok as is the frame work.
If the front or rear plates are salvageable the cost will come down, looking to have it done in the early summer.

So for all the work stated and done in a proper shop to a high standard , your quote sounds about right.

Never used myself but worth a look if only for a price comparison:

Don't know about headlining though.

I've used them for marine stuff, very good service.
