Hi again all
My Dolly sprint going in for respray (Flamenco Red) next month
I would like any info on bumper re chrome ie best prices, travel not a problem.
My bumpers do already look good but some very fine scratch marks if you look closely
I also need new coach lines that taper in towards front of car, any ideas where I can pick these up?
Any info on the finer finishing touches like door trim and protectors etc would be appreciated
Thanks all

Mick

Furthermore, I have a short video on Youtube (Triumph Dolomite Sprint Makeover Part 1) showing work carried out to engine, head gasket, overdrive, carburetors etc

I'm sure the Club sell original style coach lines.

Harringtons do 1300 bumpers but not Dolomite ones as far as I'm aware.

External door trim varies depending on year.

I used London Chrome in the Old Kent Road, they do a lot of classic cars, Bentley etc.

I tried Colin's' chemical blacking in Carshalton many years ago and it peeled off a few years later as they did not 'triple plate' it; copper, nickel and then chrome.

I had some under riders done by Quality Chrome in Hull, very reasonably priced. My bumpers were done by Derby Plating - beautiful and the best quality but VERY expensive.

I have used Ray for several parts, large and small. He has always been reliable , nice work and reasonable prices.

Mick,
I used the club pin stripes/coach lines and they are spot on.
