 Post subject: front brake cailper

on a dolomite 1500 hl dose it have a o ring on one half of the cailper. I think it dose, many thanks brian

As in you have split the calliper? If so there should be a o-ring of sorts. It has flat sides....
Or have I misunderstood your question?

if you split the caliper there is a bridge seal.

some seal kits include a new one, you have to ensure that both faces are clean and smooth before re-assembly, ensure that the threads in the calipers are clean and the bolts run free before tightening with a torque wrench.
