I was thinking exactly the same thing. The sprint looks really nice.

It might look like a Sprint...but it isn't!

...and you should be able to tell me why!

I will never understand why a dolomite owner would want to make a non sprint look like a sprint?
Its a 1850 which is taxed and insured.

Loads of people put Sprint alloys on, and then the chin spoiler as they are cheap improvements. So you're only really talking about a vinyl top (even that may be on the car already) I think the Sprint look is the best looking of the Dollys, so it doesn't surprise me why people want to emulate it

Simple laws of nature really...
Lots of people want to make others think they are better than they actually are...and they do it by trying to look bigger, faster, more expensive etc.
How many M3 alikes or GTi alikes or VTR alikes do you see...

And besides, the vynil roof protects from bird lime and tree sap.

Only a few of us revel in being a lot better than we look and the Q car is a dying art.

Agree, in fact generally it's the opposite as the ranks of 318d M Sports and TDi S Lines prove.

What i really want is a V8 Engined Dolly, that would be a true Q Car (one day, one day.. :D )
