I need to replace one of my brake cylinders which, according to rimmers, is 11/16 bore (my comm number is WF67926)

Would it be OK to change them both to the later 5/8 bore and would this improve the breaking.

So long as they are fitted as a pair, it will be quite safe. As for improving the brakes, i doubt you will notice any differance. Just make sure they are adjusted right :D
