Post subject:  Bonnet (Hood) adjustment

Anyone got any tips for adjusting the fit on the bonnet? Binny's seems too high and too far back at the front.
Obviously if I slacken the 4 bolts at the front I can ease it forward a little, but then the front edge seems too high (and there's not much adjustment before it'll start catching on the front valance wen you raise the bonnet it seems)
Bend the hinge brackets?
Live with it?

Triumph panel fit was always a bad joke, but the bonnet gap at the front is supposed to be wider to let the bonnet open properly.
For the too high bit, you could try knocking the hinge plates down a bit with the bonnet open, using a large block of wood and a big hammer - or just live with it!

Cheers Steve... I'll just put up with the "grand canyon" at the front for now.

Think of it as additional cooling, or bespoke air scoop 8)
