Today i noticed that when i moved the car there was less feel in the clutch and the fluid has gone, would you say slave cylinder, i cant see where the fluid has gone but on the way back from TDCIR i had a thin mist of something on hoses.

Do you think slave or master cylinder, or maybe hose?, my car has a remote reservoir for the clutch.

Thanks Pete

If it is the master you will probably be able to feel wetness around the end of the fork where it attaches to the clutch pedal. If it is the slave, you usually get a puddle on the floor.

My money is on master as if the slave goes you usually lose the clutch entirely.

Remote reservoir masters in stock at the Club, £85 exchange; fully reconditioned and sleeved in stainless steel

slave changed today, seems ok, there was fluid on the side of the box and it looked wet but if it looses pressure it will be a new pipe and master cylinder.
