Sum of the parts outweighs the whole I would imagine... Disappointing though that it came to that, worst thing will be the seeing more of it as the cars get rare and prices for equally rare parts shoot up. You can see it with interiors, wings and front valence already.

I’ve had an exchange with them highlighting that their pricing strategy is very optimistic and that, for example, the Club do fully reconditioned callipers for not a lot more than they’re asking for second hand. I suggested they may fare far better by advertising the car whole as even incomplete projects now seem to be commanding healthy prices at auction. I received a very nice response, so fingers crossed...
