I would fit a locking petrol cap and get some headrests on the seats, although an early exapmle like this may have come without them.

Its also a late 73 or 74 car...

Looks pleasingly original. Could be in a better colour too but at least it looks good clean. I hate keeping my white one smart...

That's not like you Jonners!

I looked at the pic & wondered when the comments would start flying. As far as I can see there's nowt wrong with it, absolutely lovely looking Sprint.

Headrests don't do anything anyway and they weren't present on the very early Sprints.

I have a couple of pictures somewhere of Callums car. Haven't seen him on the forum for a while. Another chap that's good for the odd bits you can't seem to get your hands on!

it doesnt need a locking petrol cap as the heated garage it is kept in has a lock on the door :) ,the car is stunning and is exactly the way it looked when it left the showroom.

Its b****y georgeous.
I'd be nervous leaving it anywhere looking like that.
Are those the original plates with the moulded letters?

If I recall Calum went to enormous and painstaking trouble to ensure that when he recommissioned this car it remained exactly as it left the showroom.

It is also I think a very low miler (I think 10K from new was mentioned).

The attention to detail was painstaking, with things like the original tool bag sourced, and the original plates reconditioned.

If memory serves me, it was and is the "pre-head rests" spec. Calum also did not uprate it to overdrive as it was originally supplied new without, and he did not want to change the specification in any way.

I have not seen it in the flesh so comments about its condition would be inaccurate to say the least. I can only say that it LOOKS almost certainly, to be one of the finest early series examples in the country and it is a credit to the man hours (and sheckles) he spent on it.
