 Post subject: Throttle cable

can anyone tell me how long a sprint throttle cable is meant to be?

just bought one off the bay, and it looks fookin short to me really, but then again thats just becasue i was probably expecting it to be longer.

could make one out of a bloody bike gear/brake cable if needs be of course...

:idea: could do it in orange then...

No really, they are only about 18" long (if that), they've only got to go from the bulkhead to the carbs.

that confirms what i thought, and Im sure the one I bought will be fine.

just tried to visualise where it went and thought it would need to be longer than that.
