Basically all this car needed was a thorough going through.
The judder is nearly gone. Once the engine was in tune, the takeoffs became much smoother. I still think I may have a worn engine mount, but at least the whole thing doesn't shake like an out-of-balance washing machine anymore. There was perhaps some oil on the clutch disc. The car appears to have sat for a year before I bought it last week. There were cob wens all underneath.

I now know how powerful a properly built Sprint engine can be. This car has a fast road cam and was set up on a rolling road to deliver 150 horsepower at the wheels. My favorite thing to do is light up the rear tires while going around a corner. There is so much power that the tire can spin until they smoke.
