I stumbled across this video last night, new to me but many of you may have seen it ages ago.
It is a very 'period' video that seems very slow but is actually very interesting nonetheless.

The really interesting thing to me was spotting a 2 door with an early 1300 style front end being road tested.
6 minutes 19 seconds in, there are a couple of passing shots.

I wasn't aware of this car, anyone else?

It's pretty interesting isn't it?! I noticed that when I saw the video myself and was taken aback as I've never seen a Triumph prototype on the move as it were! I wonder what became of this test car?!

One of the mock-ups for the 1300fwd featured a 2-door version

At the time it was still being developed as a Herald replacement. But once Herald sales picked up (helped by the introduction of the 1200 engine) the design brief changed and the 1300fwd was the result.

I believe you also see the "Pony" 4x4 truck prototype at one point driving around the factory
