I want to ship something to a fellow club member in Holland, does anyone have recommendations for shipping companies/couriers?
Thanks in advance.

You may have to check on this, but there is a international shipping arrangement on Ebay which is quite favourable.

Sell in a private auction to your recipient for a pound or few pence.

Thanks Mahesh, good thinking. It seems there is a weight limit of 2Kg, if I'm looking at the right bit.

My Hermes has just "lost" a pair of wheel arch repairs I sold to Tony G, or rather the lazy b'stard who was tasked with delivering them couldn't be arsed to make a second attempt. I shall never use them again.

This might be worth a go?
I have used it once for a parcel sent within the UK (which Parcel Force collected and delivered as arranged).

I've used MyHermes a couple of times without any problems. However, a search for feedback on the their service raises some pretty unfavourable comments. As Alun indicated, the service (or lack of) seems to very much depend on the individual courrier(s) that will be asked to transport the item.

MyHermes have not lost anything for me but the last thing that arrived via them took 2 weeks to get here! (from Essex)

I used Parcel Hero and they used DPD, less than £15 to ship a prop to Holland. Thanks to everyone for their help. :D

Recommended: shipping costs were very reasonable and shipping duration was only two days!
Thanks again Bill for the effort.
