We've just booked a week's holiday in the South-West for a Holiday and naturally we'll be taking one or other of the Classics.
So I booked it all on the phone and one of the items was the compulsory " Travel Insurance " . I did ask if it would be O.K. to take an "older" car and was assured that this would be no problem.
I got the documentation pack today and on reading through it I noted the Travel Insurance bit specifically excluded cars over 15 years old.
They are going to get a really stroppy letter !
Worth checking if you do the same Folks !
Tony.

Just ask for a full refund for mis-selling especially as you asked and were given an incorrect answer.
I hate it when companies add compulsory extras. In fact I reckon they are unfair trading. And tend to shop elsewhere if they play that game.
