I have a question about transferring money from Paypal to my bank account…

Currently I have a balance of £60 but when I try to transfer this to my bank account, it says the minimum I can transfer is £90!

I don't use Paypal much and have never seen this before.
In fact I think I have only ever once transferred more than £90!
There is no mention of such a minimum on the Paypal website as far as I can determine?

Any ideas please?
I could try transferring £30 into my Paypal account to see if it will let me release funds  ?

thanks,

Ian.

PS From the Paypal website:

There is no Account Overview on my account, just a summary.

Never had problem with smaller amounts, just logged in and it says my minimum transfer amount is 1p!

I'd recommend that you login and use the helpline number with code https://www.paypal.com/gb/selfhelp/contact/call

I had problems with my PayPal account being restricted. It took a while but it was finally sorted out. You need to get on to them and keep on until the problem is resolved.

Thanks for that.

I have phoned Paypal and eventually got through to an operator.
He informs me that they are aware of this problem so is going to email instructions
on how to get around this until Paypal rectify the fault.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Ian.

I have tried to make a formal complaint (via their website) about the service received and, would you believe it, they won't accept this email.

Not impressed.

I phoned again today and spoke to a very helpful and honest lady….
Paypal don't know how long it will be before the problem is resolved :( but,
since this is hardly a satisfactory situation, she persevered and found two alternative ways,
the first of which worked :D .
This was to use their previous software. If that had not worked she would have transferred the money "manually"
(which takes "two or three working days" - same as card payments to over the counter retailers!)
The phone call lasted 23 minutes.

Yeah, you do have to be persistent. It was only a problem for me because I buy stuff on eBay.

Glad you got it resolved.

 Paypal sent me a survey to complete about service received.
I have answered it honestly.
