Hello All, My eldest has this Renault Clio which got an advisary on the MOT last year for "Headlamp covers discoloured".
So I've been looking at polishing compounds as new dealer headlamps are £130 and even after market ones are £80 each. And you have to start by removing the front bumper to get at them. I tried T-cut and clay bar with no improvement.
However I did find this ...

O.K. it is expensive but it works really well ! You do need a low-speed electric drill and overalls as the mess goes every where, but is does exactly what it says on the pack. You get a velcro backing pad and successively fine grades of abrasive pad and then polish. It took about 2 1/4 hours to complete the job including washing the car after.
Here are before and after photos.
I wonder if this stuff will work on a scratched windscreen ?
