The only issue I would have with the link posted above is that the circlip fitted to the bottom joint isn't there to hold the joint into the leg, it's just there so that if you can fit the circlip, the ball joint has been driven in far enough, The joint is such a tight fit that is what it holds it, and if it's loose in the leg it will move, and then force the circlip out of the groove, and when you see the circlip hanging there, soon the joint will pull itself out of the leg and the suspension will collapse.
This may give the OP a better idea of how it all goes together.
