Next month marks the start of winter, here down-under. But about 10 -15kms away from here, on the edge of a National Park, they're water bombing a bushfire that's presently out of control.
About 10 minutes ago an old Hewey (Iroquois helicopter) flew over the house while loading up with water. It was low and LOUD. I used to fly in them when I was in the Carrier Air Group and it bought back lots of memories.....I could almost smell the napalm and I'm sure I could hear the Ride of the Valkeries......LOL
