Do not use Resin to seal the tank unless you are sure that the new fuels (ethelene? ) will not dissolve.

I am looking for a tank for my sprint, must be VGC or NEW!!! ground up rebuild including A/C

Excellent 10th post, not everyone knows how to spell (two L's in excellent) or compose a forum message, introduce themselves etc etc.

Welcome to the forum Bob, good advice about the resin although I would never repair a tank anyhow.

Welcome Bob. Fortunately, tanks for our cars seem to be easier to find than many tanks for older cars so chances are you'll find one either as a result of your request here or in the classified ads pages of Practical Classics.

You're right, my spelling is bad. As for introducing myself, I have done so "etc etc".
I think you interperated my post incorrectly 1300dolly, (I hope I spelt that correctly.) Wrong side of the bed this morning?

Learnt the hard way on tank sealer. If you can remove the rest of it and have a nice clean tank then you are welcome to tank said tank off my hands. I only put the sealer in as extra security and apart from the flaky sealer inside the tank is excellent.
