Hi, I'm Daniel, just turned 19 and a big fan of old cars, especially BMC and Leyland products!! :D Considering buying a 1300cc Triumph of some description for a daily later on this year if funds allow. Enquired about a 1977 Dolly in brooklands green advertised locally last month but never heard back from the seller. :x Wouldn't mind a 1500 FWD in Honeysuckle though, will have to see what the insurance quotes are like...

Welcome to the Forum Daniel, there is a very tidy 1500TC (rear wheel drive) for sale if it is of interest to you. good 1500 FWD are rarely advertised but you never know.

Link to the TC..viewtopic.php?f=9&t=17604
I could even deliver it for free you you were to buy it before the 18th April :D

Seen that one on ebay, but parents orders mean I need to shift a 1978 Vanden Plas Allegro automatic first before I can take on another motor sadly

Here she is, just needs a bit of cosmetic work but apart from that she's a very solid motor and runs and drives very well:

Currently running a 1989 Nissan Micra K10 automatic as a daily which has covered just under 13,000 genuine miles, which I bought off it's original 80 year old lady owner last year.

Good luck finding the right car!

I'd love to find a good K10 vario but they don't come up all that often.

I thought I recognised the VdP and so I do, it's this one isn't it?....

Sadly (according to everyone I know), my pride and joy is my K10 Micra. Similarly, bought from its 85 yr old original owner, who'd just given up driving. 17k from new, FSH, original tyres, and not a spot of rust. Taxed it on Friday, and intend taking it out of hibernation tomorrow..........................as long as its dry!
