hi got my gf to turn the the i gnition with a plug against the block got the healthy spark but battery was going flat charging it up now it did try to fire but noticed the engine seems to not turn freely all the time seems to stop while turn which is strange mite just be the battery hopefully

Did you read the wiki about ballast bypass check?

Crucial you have full 12v when cranking or it will not start.
