hi all wonder if anyone can give me some advice please.have just got snowdrop moted passed with flying colours.have driven her back to dereham to her new home in my garage rather than kept at my parents and noticed im getting no reading off the temp gauge and the fuel gauge is reading off the gauge was sort of like this when buying her was told its a faulty voltage regulator so i bought one off ebay and fitted it before mot but its still the same could it be a fault with the temp guage and fuel gauge any help would be apreciated :)

Are you saying that the fuel guage reads past full but the temp guage doesn't read at all?
If so then the problem doesn't lie with the stabiliser. Both instruments are run off this so both will show the same symptoms if it is faulty.
Check the wiring on the tank to make sure its not reversed (black wire should go to earth tag) and test the temp sender by earthing the lead to it with the ignition on, this should, after a few seconds, peg the needle to the "hot" pin, if this happens the sender is faulty. These are the easy checks for the symptoms you describe so check them first and get back to us!
