Sorry about the delay in replying but I came across the answer earlier today.
The first thing is ... do you really want to do this, as it doesn't look easy.
The ratchet adjusters are not that bad if lubricated and serviced.
Now from the parts book, it looks like that manual adjusters with the square adjuster on the rear of the back-plate were only fitted to some 1300's.
So first of all you need a 1300 axle tube. And 1300 brakes which are probably smaller than the 1500/ 1850 ones. So poorer braking.
All these parts are listed under " 1300 single brakes, Manual adjustment " in the parts book.
The backplates are 216411 and 216410 . They are left / right handed.
The manual adjusters are 519762 ( Qty 2-off.)
The wheel cylinders are GWC 1110 Qty 2-off.
Brake shoes are GBS 593 ( Compatible with late 1300 Tandem brakes )
Pull off springs 519757 and 105689 x2
Steady spring kit 105689 +519755
Handbrake links 519759 x2
Brake drums 215754 ( Compatible with Late 1300 tandem brakes and 1500 / 1850 HL )
This will honestly be quite a lot of trouble to go to and quite expensive in new parts.
Maybe find a scrap 1300 with manual adjusters; but I'd first ensure that the back plates fit your axle tube.
HTH,
Tony.
