Hey!
I'm looking to buy a Sprint very soon, and I'm looking at one this weekend. It has all the spec I want (Yellow, sunroof, tax exempt) apart from Overdrive. How difficult/costly ismit to retrofit overdrive/swap an Overdrive box in? Labour cost is no issue (I have access to a ramp and very handy mates) as long as it's a fairly straight swap.
Thanks!

The best way is to swap the entire gearbox but you will need other stuff such as the crossmember and the extra wiring. I'm not up on the differences between OD and non-OD Sprints. I once helped out on an overdrive conversion on a 1500SE (Andy P.'s SE) so it won't be much different.

Cross member is the same Dave, all you need is the overdrive 'box, the wiring can be fabricated easily enough.
