Anyone any ideas on how to stop the oil from draining from the filter on a 1500 dolly.

Use a filter whith an anti drain valve.

Not easy I'm afraid as the supply of ant drain valve filters is questionable.

I just spin it on the starter until the light goes out and then pull the choke to let it fire up.
