Oh - when they're fitted, see if you can get them to put the balance weights on the inside of the rim and get it all tracked up too - saves wearing them out in under 500 miles, like I did to my inside left :)

I got a set for my Brooklands Sprint after being pointed in the right direction by Scott.

I went for firestones all round. When I get the car back I aim to paint the letters white on the side with tippex. 8)

Just paint some of the letters in then you can have Fire One! that would look "special"

I have Uniroyal all round on my Sprint 185 60 13's - the same as fitted on Festa XR2's - that was the widest I dare go without anything rubbing and the lowest profile readily available without paying silly money. I paid £30 a corner. I would think that something with a nice soft compound would be favourite as getting traction always seems to be an issue and every Dolomite I've owned likes to wag it's tail without warning. Saying that, I can honestly say that understeer has never been a problem with the front.

Using Avon CR322 on both roadsters and will put these also on the Sprint as soon as I have killed the actual ones. The Avons are cheap and have excellent grip when dry as well when wet. Only issue compared to other tyres is that they are not lasting as long but this is no issue on my Triumph's as I am not going 30.000 miles per year with each.

mr poth - dont you dare!

pirellis were always a predictable choice on my slammed SE, got a bridgestone/firestone (pair of each kept on same 'axle' obviously) mix on orange, but gona try toyos when i've burnt those out.
