Free Breakfast Club and 'How difficult can it be???' events - Lancashire

Following our successful BBQ in April, we've announced a monthly meet called Autopia Breakfast Club, the first one will be from 10am - 12 noon on Sunday 22nd August, we've arranged a burger van and will open up the workshop so visitors can look around, if the ramps are not already in use, we'll be happy to lift a few cars for free so owners can have a good look underneath.
Subsequent dates will be posted on our website.

We've also announced a free monthly evening session in conjunction with the Blackburn College Motor Vehicle Engineering faculty called 'How difficult can it be??', the sessions will help vehicle owners who might be lacking in confidence to better understand their cars and how to maintain them, lecturer Ian Carter will be presenting the first one on 18th August between 6pm - 8pm, the subject is 'how to pre-MOT test your car' and will take the audience through the MOT test to reduce the risk of receiving a fail or advisory note.

Finally, we've already announced this but it's worth repeating - we're happy to offer the workshop as a free venue for car clubs to hold a technical evening, an alternative or addition to the monthly natter and noggin meeting, we suggest a club puts a car on the ramp and the owner or another expert can take the group through any number of technical items.

For these and other news items, please see our new website http://www.autopiaservicecentres.co.uk and while you're there, why don't you let us know what you think of the site and our initiatives on facebook, twitter or our own forum?

best regards,

Darren.
