Val and I are arranging a Treasure Hunt around the Warwickshire countryside on Sunday 22nd June. Starting at the Royal Oak, Brandon (CV8 3HR) from 10.00am with a staggered start. Anyone interested in joining us for a fun day out with the cars?

Members and prospective members welcome.

The Royal Oak is open all day - good food - let us know if you would like us to book some tables or feel free to make your own arrangements http://www.theroyaloakbrandon.co.uk/

We hope to make it, although we are going to the Triumph 2000 Register National the next day!

Provided that we have a working vehicle, the McLeans are in! If the Sprint is not ready, are we allowed to use the Jaaaaag?

We will have 2 cars there.

Mark, I believe you are welcome in the Jag but if you win, we will demote you to 4th place for not entering into the spirit of the event.

Thanks to Mike and Val for organising a scenic, and devious route around the Warwickshire countryside.

What more can be asked of a sunny Su day than an array of cars ranging from FWD to Sprint, via Stag, Jag and Triumph 2000!

25 of us sat down to Lunch, and the results will be in the next issue of DM.
Look out for the next one!

Thank you to everyone who came along and took part in the treasure hunt today. It was great fun for us as we planned the route and even more fun seeing you decipher the clues! Sorry to those who can only navigate with the aid of a satnav!

Hope you all enjoyed the day and got home safely. Many thanks for your support.

Just to repeat what an excellent, if somewhat challenging, run. Many thanks for all your hard work in organising it. Just out of interest we clocked up about 50 miles... how many was it meant to be?

Reckon about 20 miles, David. But I guess 50 would be about right with all the reversing, circling and general detours that were taking place!!
Well done though. You both did a great job and were determined to answer all the clues, I could tell. Thanks for taking part!

Can I add our thanks too? It was great to catch up with everyone, even if we didn't have a working Triumph to take part with. I have half a Treasure Hunt that I started working on some time ago, so maybe the McLeans can organise the next one?
