HEADS UP
In order to mark the 50th annivesary of the launch of the Triumph 1300, we have got together with our friends at Coventry MotoFest in an attempt to get 50 of these lovely little cars back to Coventry on Sunday 31 May 15.

There is a facebook group, and dedicated email address for you to register your interest Triumph_1300_50at50@outlook.com

This is open to all 1300 fwd owners, and will consist of a static display, plus cavalcade around the (in)famous Coventry ringroad.

Let's make this a success, booking in is required, either to the e-mail address, or contact me directly.

Cheers all

I would imagine this would be the first time 50 1300's will have been in the same place since they were in production.

I'll be there, 1300 or not

Please start spreading the word on this one to all 1300 owners, I currently need another 40, and don't want to be going on a buying spree!

I would love to attend with my 1300 but the resto won't be finished in time and I don't think my 1500fwd could do the South Coast to Coventry run

Good work though, I always think that the 1300 gets overlooked and deserves some limelight.

Yep, we'll be at Stoneleigh, manning the TDC stand, with KAC, and LURch, see you then.

Look for the small subtle banners!

Finished spraying and assembling engine at moment and will fit weekend. Its coming along well but will be going into hospital next Wednesday so will be out of action for a few days and then need to arrange MOT. I know I need to register - what is the latest date I can register? I am determined to get there!
Thanks
Pete

Well it starts and runs quietly! Few small problems and still a lot to do, but now fairly confident of passing MOT next week and attending the Moto-fest.
So I need to register, what do you need from me?
The 1300fwd will be Wedgewood Blue, reg. no. GBT 198D, probably still in need of finishing but roadworthy and will be accompanied by my wife and maybe two friends.
Will we have to pay and if so how much? What is the postcode and what time do we need to be there for?
I dare say there are other questions but this is all for now.
Many Thanks
Pete

IT'S THIS SUNDAY!

Due to bookings in/bookings out/breakdowns (Mechanical and Nervous), I've lost track of the number of 1300's attending, but all 1300s, Dollys, Tollys are welcome to come and see us.

We'll be located in the Upper Precinct shopping centre in Coventry, and this will hopefully be one of the biggest gatherings of 1300's for years.

See you all on Sunday, I'll be the one looking stressed, Nathan will be looking relieved having survived an interview on Local Radio this morning.

Pictures will follow!!!
