Apologies for the short notice, I've only just had confirmation of a club stand.

A car show in a city, with demonstration runs around the Ring road, and a cavalcade at the end of the day.

Hunt Covenrty Motofest on Goole, and see what's planned.

Interested in coming along? DON'T register with Motofest, let me know, either by posting below, or sending me a PM.

We had 25 cars here last year for the 1300 anniversary, reckon we can do better this year?

Dear Bruce,
Many thanks for signing up for a club display at Coventry MotoFest 2016. We are now into May and the MotoFest team are now making final preparations for a 3rd annual action packed Coventry MotoFest (Saturday 4th June & Sunday 5th June).

Please take this as confirmation of your club stand reservation:

· Triumph Dolomite Club
· Sunday 5th June

· Estimated cars 15-20 per day (If you expect to bring more cars, please do let me know)

Club stand details

All Motofest club stands are in the central pedestrian area of the city centre, very close to MotoFest and tourist attractions:

· Your club stand location will be in Broadgate Plaza. Access Broadgate via Trinity Street next to the Flying Standard pub (satnav CV1 1FL).

· You are advised to enter the city centre off junction 1 to get to Trinity Street.

· Be aware that the southern section of the ring road around junctions 5 and 6 will be closed (that’s our sprint circuit) and junction 4 will be partial closed with diversions in place at all affected junctions.

· City centre bus lane cameras will be turned off for the weekend, should members become lost.

· Mark Rowland will be onsite during the mornings to assist in setting up in Broadgate as you will be sharing the area with a number of clubs, totalling circa 70 cars.

· Advise your club members to arrive from 830am and try to be parked up by 1030am.

· When manoeuvring into position or departing, drive at walking place with hazard lights on as you are in a pedestrian zone. If possible, other club members to marshall moving cars.

· Please bring driptrays as you are on hardstanding.

· Display passes and event guides will be handed out by Mark Rowland to your club representatives on the day. Put the the display passes in your windscreens as you’ll need them for access to the parade lap at the end of the day.

· Details of the parade lap start point will be on the display pass. Clubs cars to depart their stands at 5pm please (no earlier otherwise you’ll get stuck in traffic jams).

· Be aware there is no overnight parking available onsite, so all vehicles must depart by 6pm.

MotoFest weekend

We have an exciting schedule of live music, culture, classic car, bike and club displays and of course motorsport spectacles on our short oval and sprint circuit right in the heart of Coventry city centre, the home of the UK’s automotive industry. The final schedule is being finalised so please keep an eye out on the website for our 2016 event guide which also include a track schedule:-

Website: www.coventrymotofest.com

Twitter: @covmotofest

Facebook: www.facebook.com/coventrymotofest

For our short circuit, we welcome back Coventry Stadium, bringing BRISCA F1, historic, Rebel and ministox formulas. Our sprint circuit on the famous Coventry ring road will feature displays of road going and motorsport vehicles and well as parades of classic cars over the Saturday and Sunday.

The MotoFest team look forward to welcoming you to Coventry MotoFest and thank you for your support in celebrating Coventry’s automotive past, present and future. If you have an questions please email me at displays@coventrymotofest.com
