As it says really.

I don't mind a bit of travel but 200 miles from Herts would be my limit.

I've read about a lot of interest at Stoneleigh but which day would be best?

What I am looking for is a decent day out, see a few cars, chat to a few onwers (if they could stomach me!) buy an Ice Cream etc.

ANY comments welcome!

the national restoration show at stoneleigh is a good place to meet other dolly owners although it has been known to be a bit noisy around the club stand.

All the Stoneleigh events are one day only (on a Sunday). As Justyn says, the Restoration show is a good event (there's one in March and one in October or November), as is the Triumph Show & Spares Day on 11th February (which is probably my favorite event of the year). There are regional "Dolly Days" later in the year (dates yet to be announced), as well as our national day ("TDCIR") usually held in September. The classic car show at the NEC in November usually rounds off the season. In addition, there are numerous classic events taking place up and down the country, as well as local group meetings. The meetings are usually listed in Dolly Mixture and the events will be listed both in Dolly Mixture and on the Events page of the main website (http://www.triumphdolomiteclub.com).

Colin, go to both Stoneleigh days. You know you want to. If you book on line you get a discount. I could always meet up with you in sunny herts and have a mini convoy as I'm based in Enfield/Edmonton:lol:

Ken, you are a bit of a mind reader. I would jump at the chance.
Can a mini convoy include a 54 plate Mazda 6 though? Other than that it's a Kawasaki 500 twin (not much use for bringing any purchases back with unless it gets left up there!)

Will sort out tickets for the 11th soon, just got to see if another mate of mine is interested first.

No problem, as long as you don't mind travelling at 1300 Toledo speeds

We really have to get you sorted with a Dolly asap :D

S' OK We are on about both days as in 11th Feb and 11th March.

Do we have to leave on Friday 9th if we travel at 1300 speeds?

Oi, Oi... cheeky

I haven't actually done stoneleigh in a Triumph yet. I'll try and go in LWT. Can't see any reason for her not to cruise at something near motorway speeds. Just let me buy a set of ear plugs first. Besides, I'll have a modern car in front as back up vehicle

PM me with your details and we'll talk about where and when to meet.

Cheers

Ken
