1975 1500 TC project for sale... carmine red

I have decided to sell my 1500TC project, it was my daily driver until mid last year, I took it off the road to complete a re-spray, unfortunately it didn’t pan out that way I wanted it too.

It has been at the body shop for a few months but the guy due to health reasons is not able to finish it, and I don't have space at home as my sprint is occupying the garage,

Good Points

Refurbished 1500 engine fitted last year with new shells, bearings piston rings, timing chain and valves. - has completed less than 200 miles
New Clutch and Clutch slave cylinder
Overdrive fitted
New poly suspension bushes and ball joints on lower front suspension arms
Sprint wheels with virtually new tyres fitted - less than 1000 miles driven
It has had a rear lower boot valance fitted at some point.
Car was MOT'd until March of this year, not renewed as car was in the body shop I have had it MOT'd since I got it in 2020
It has a HL dash fitted
Sprint chin spoiler.
Accuspark electronic ignition and new HT leads.
Halogen headlamp conversion
Car runs well and quiet...

Not so good points

It requires some welding around the nearside inner arch and a new arch panel fitting, a new full arch panel will be supplied to fit.
It has had a replacement offside rear door fitted - that is much better than the original, the lower door could do with a panel but could be repaired - I have a club lower panel to fit which will be supplied with the car, I still have the original door for parts transfer, it will then require re-spraying
It could do with a couple of patches on the door steps, but the cills and floor pans are solid,
Bumpers removed from the car at the moment, but I have all the parts
Just found out since returning from the body shop the fuel gauge is not working - but I will try and sort this at the weekend.

Note all the exposed metal areas have had primer applied for temp protection

I am looking for £1500 for the car.

It is driveable but will need to be trailered due to the rear arch panel, car is located in North Dorset

PM me for more info an any pics/info you require. I have a video of the engine running just post its re-build

I have also got a rebuilt 1500 engine (built by Mad Mart last year) it was rebored, crank re-ground, new cam shaft and water pump. Then rebuild with new bearings etc. I also have a spare set of carbs, starter motor, alternator to go with this engine, I have not checked these though. PM if you're interested in this engine.

I agree, especially as I know how much he spent on the engine.
