My father has finally agreed his dolly has to go!
He dreamt of restoring it but he is about to turn 86 and realises it is now beyond him.
It is a 1973 1854cc automatic in blue. It has 76417 miles on the clock and was in regular use up until March 2004 when it was mothballed in the garage and placed up on axel stands and battery removed.
Dad tells me the engine is very good; he does know about car engines from his army days and carried out all of the routine maintenance himself.
The bodywork is in poor condition. The interior is pretty reasonable; the passenger and rear seats had very little use, the boot is immaculate. I have provided photos of all the parts I could reach.
So hopefully there is someone who wants her and who has what it takes to extricate this car from the garage.

The garage is close to the house at the top of quite a narrow 20m driveway. An expert trailer driver would cope. Dad thinks the engine may start with a battery connected.

The price. He recognises it has some value but also realises the effort needed by the buyer to remove it from the garage, load it and take it away.

Ha thanks Tony! Need to get DTR finished first or my wife would kill me!

Wow, lots of 1850s resurfacing! Sounds like a really nice car and worthy of a recommissioning, whoever gets it should look at my thread for inspiration.

Shameless plug over!

You need to contact the lady, Dave, she is not on this forum herself!
