What a clean workshop that is. Definately the best method to lift and lower, will do the same I think both for removal and for fitting.

Absoluetly fantastic, would be a shame to use it. If only leyland had produced them that good in the first place. Well done I've truly enjoyed this rebuild. Total inspiration.

Regards Rob.

Have I spotted a continuity error? I'm sure in those last pics the front spoiler has made a bid for freedom?

After three years and nearly 450 posts the end is in sight.

You must be feeling quite tingly now Mike.

I've got a mental picture of an MOT tester walking around underneath this yellow masterpiece shaking his head in disbelief while Mike looks on from the background bouncing up 'n down like a 5 year old on Christmas morning. I wish I could be there to watch.

Mike,
Whats the thinking behind running a new camshaft at 2K rpm on startup? Is this to remove imperfections or just to shove as much lubrication around as fast as possible?

Can't wait for the photos!

Now we're just waiting for your roadtest verdict. What's it like to drive a brand new Sprint?
