I thought I'd just tidy up yet another bit of 'surface rust' on my car, to find once again that a po had used filler without first getting rid of the rot.
The actual finish is superb I wish I could do bodywork like that - but for goodness sake get rid of the grot first!
Anyhoo....
this temporary repair will involve getting rid of all the rust I can, without taking the wing off. Can anyone tell me where the water is supposed to drain from as it rolls down the front of the windscreen pillar? I'm considering chopping the gutter below the stainless trim....
