I keep on seeing this car when I'm out and about.

This photo was taken in the car park of the local Aldi in December 2013 and my Astra is right next to it.

Sad to see someone has wasted their life preserving something so unworthy.....:-)
Mind you not much from that period was worth keeping,....
but you could just about have got a mk1 T2000 on a B plate.

Mk3 Zephyr I suppose....or Ford Classic or maybe a Riley Farina?

Perhaps cheating slightly, The Ross Motor Club Bluebell Run started a few miles from home so we took Mrs Weevils Mini out & had a nose round the car park.

That Mitsuoka Viewt is bizarre - like a Nissan Micra crossed with a Mk2 Jag/Daimler!

Southbound on the A48 at 05:36 today in the pouring rain, much worse than it looks here. Looked like a daily drive to me as there were a fair few patches in a red oxide.

I thinks its the number 2 classic around here after dolomites....

Admittedly I own most of the dolomites....:-) but there are no shortage of them here at all.
Why people bother of course is a mystery to me....but no accounting for taste....

I guess they are quite retro cute...

Moggies are everywhere and I can't understand why either! Cute maybe, but the don't go well, they don't handle well and they don't stop at all! And they ROT! Horribly!
If you must have something cheap and cheerful from the 60s, get a Herald!

What a good day for classic car spotting. Went out around lunch time today in the MG to do some more miles bedding in the new brakes. Travelling out from Bradford to Skipton then back via Ilkley I saw a 75 Midget, Vauxhall 10, a fabulous Porsche 356 in Ilkley, a 66 Mustang convertible, top down, a bit rough looking and lastly an early Beetle in Guisely. Sorry no pics was driving.

Then home to polish the Dolomite for the 10th Bradford Classic Car Show on Saturday.

Good day all round.

Yesterday in our works car park was something I had never seen before...

It was a Jensen-Ford. Prewar thing looked a bit like a dolomite 14/60 but with a flat mesh grille and a Ford V8.

Very rare as a I could find very liitle else about it on the net...

Pic here...though the one I saw was black and had its hood down...and it might not have been this exact model.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jensen_S-type

Marvelous...hope it comes to work again and I'll get a pic.
