Here some pic's after first wash
You mean to say you've allowed it to get wet already?! Also, is it an illusion, or is the egg box grill damaged near the left headlights as viewed from the front? That said, this is going to be one stunningly gorgeous Dolly. Great work!

Thank's alot for the lovely feedback :jack:

Yes, that's right mr pippin, the grill got a damage.
I'm going to try fix it with a heat gun, but my biggest cristmaswish is that santa i going to put 2 new grills under the tree 8).
Anyone got a nice looking grill and right rear bumper section for sale?
I'm also looking for a nice looking steeringwheel, the vinyl is slipping in the seem ar mine. Thinking about getting it covered in leather if i can't manage to get hold of a "new" one.

Hello dolomite friends :D .
A little step at the time, the sprint is waking up from the long long sleep.
I met some issues in the engine block, as shown on pictures. But now figured out, and on it's way back together.
Here some more pic's.......
Cheers 8)

What bit of the block are those pics? I thought it was water pump hole at first but now I'm not so sure...

So has a new jacko bearing been fitted there then? The brassy bit...

Before and after in reverse order then...

Jon

Can you have a look again at this everyone that knows.
The brass bit is missing a hole....

Isn't that the hole that feeds oil up to the head? I know the feed is pulsed as the jackshaft rotates....and the oil goes through it.

Like this it can get in, but not out and up to the head.

Pretty crucial that the head gets a good oil supply....

On second looks is it just that the brass picture is taken from a different direction and one hole is out of sight?

Hello, happy new year :D .
Just a little update.
Now the engine is back together and lifted into the car. Made myself a pair of "uprated" engine mounts.

Hehehehe  , here a video...........https://youtu.be/za22SG06n84

If they work then combine that with the gearbox mount elsewhere and you can go in to production....

How much could you do them for?

Hehehehe....thanks for the idea, but i don't do mass production work
I can share more info what to do if anybody like to produce them.
The main reason why I didn't just buy new aftermarked mount, i don't trust the quality.

Hi again :bluewave:

Now more parts finding they're way "back home" :D
Carbs mounted, fuelines sorted. Ignition sorted. The only things left in the enginebay is some coolant hoses, and sorting out the electric connection for the cooling fan / thermostat.
Also have to mount the sport exhaust before first startup.........almost there
