I drove the dolomite for the first time today, all was well apart from a scraping/ graunching noise when turning right. It sounded like it was coming from the left hand side and around the middle of the car (I doubt that's where it was). I checked play on the front bearings and they seem OK, there is also nothing I can see that is interfering with the wheel on that side. I have an idea what I think it is but would welcome any opinions/ suggestions.

No ideas anyone? I thought initially it could be diff as its only when turning right but that would be behind and would expect more of a whine/ grumble. I thinks it's most likely suspension/ bush related allowing movement somewhere to the point that something interferes with a wheel or brake. But I can't see what would allow this to happen.

If your rack isnt set up right its possible for the front wheel to polish the drag strut on one side. Have a look see if one tyre shows signs
of scuffing on its inside edge and one of the drag struts looks a bit clean...

Checked those and ok. I now think it's the exhaust, it's two inches clear of the tunnel when standing but the hanger rubbers are so weak it's moving about all over the place. Just waiting on new rubbers.
