main thing its all brown,shading not bothered as it 35yrs plus old,but on the other hand,ive spun the sidelight/indicators round,so sidelights are the outer side

brown dolly dead at the moment :( fuel tank,leak small pin hole at the bottom,hopefully tank repair putty will do as a temp fix!
now im looking for fuel tank repairs in notts area,anyone got any info?

sorted the fuel leak,,donmt seam to be dripping no more,but ive notice my fuel gauge dont work,but it does when i switch the terminal over,then it read full,,has my sender unit gone? it a 3 terminal top

checked the fuel tank this morning no drip or smell of petrol,job done but then :twisted: found another job to do today,,bubbling paint on rear of passenger sill,grinder on-oh`dear

re your fuel sender 1300 dolomites dont have a fuel warning light, but others do.

I had a late 1300 and it had the wire for the warning light in the rear loom and I think a 3 terminal sender, but not certain. When I put the HL dash
in it I used the loom wires and it all worked.

So in short...1 wire does the light and the other the level. The third is the earth. If you have a wiring diagram its colour coded so you should be able to sort it out.

Black wire is earth, green/black wire to guage, the other one, (the colour of which escapes me at this moment) is the redundant one for the 1300's non existent low fuel warning light.
