Crisis? You've got an Aston and god knows how many Sprints. Whats next Bruce's motorbike?

As the government pushes retirement towards 70 years of age, "middle aged" must move to late 50''s I reckon.

I am about to hit 50 and still have no desire for a large motorbike so on that basis I consider myself not middle aged

No such thing as a mid-life crisis.. :) It's just a time in life when some older people have more time and money, so can enjoy the fruits of their labour! 8)

Well, that's my excuse anyway..

I'm 63, there was a point about 10 years ago when, for a whole week, I was on the verge of buying a large motorcycle, then sanity returned! Does that count as my mid life crisis? If so, I feel cheated!

Like Alun, I am 51 and I do have a large motorbike (but no Aston Martin), but did not consider myself engulfed by crisis when I purchased it.

Perhaps I've done it all back to front; I've had my toys whilst young enough to enjoy them, so maybe my crisis will be starting a large family or something. I'm safe for a while at least on that front as there's a fundamental component absent! (note: I chose not to use the word 'missing', absent is fine ;-) )

In a blink the numbers will reverse and you will be 63, saying to yourself "that went quickly".

Not such a nice comment James.

And that was on topic again. :D
