I sold a running chassis that I made in 2009 and never expected to see it again but hey it has surfaced on Ebay and here it is to prove that someone finished it.

Here it is in my drive just before I sold it due to job loss and getting bored with it!

Ebay ad says it's an Albar Jet, which makes it Swiss and based on a VW, though I suspect maybe it's an Alba Jet, but how does a 1967 car get an MT75 gearbox and Ford Colone engine?! :scratchin:

Easy, you buy the plate and attach it to the car. So long as it doesn't try to make the car appear younger than it is, it can make it appear to be as old as you like. It is probably still registered as a 4x4 Sierra

You would think it had to look a little like the car the DVLA has on record, where it is registered as an Albar Jet, looks very different in the video and ebay ad!

Its registered as a 1967 Albar Jet built in 1967 which it clearly isn't as it's based on a 1980s car. you can buy a plate that makes the car appear older, I have a 2003 plate on my 2006 car but DVLA still has it has a 2006 built car.

The car is definitely built by me and I sold it 2009 as a running chassis with most of the bodywork which is from a Lola Mk1 of late 50's how he registered it is a mystery but as long as its legal who cares?
I am going for a drive in it some time this week as I have been in touch with the seller.
