Ha! Like the bike pump bazooka!

Good to hear youve been using the car. Mine has definitely got better through just using it. I still have a noisy top end but don’t think it’s too much to worry about, especially as other sprint owners have told me it doesn’t sound too bad to their ears.

On the colourtune - it’s worth the money I reckon. I thought I had my engine running pretty spot on by ear but the plugs were still getting a bit black and sooty. A session with the colourtune showed that I was a few flats out on the positioning of the jet. A little adjustment, and my plugs are now a nice golden colour. I think it was around £30 on eBay.

Not much restoring to report (although I’m soon going to learn how to fix rust: door bottoms, windscreen surround…  ), but plenty of driving going on:

A run out with TDC Cheshire and CT Cheshire folks:

An empty pub:

And a new addition to the fleet: a Spitfire. Not yet a runner, but with the usual good advice from Dollyman it gets closer each day 8) - if you look closely you might just see the Sprint lurking away in the garage…
