There are replica ones as well...

A lot of the catering ones are reproductions made in the UK and have no engine or running gear.

We saw a few of these last week in Oxford. All converted as snack vans.

Spotted in Crowborough early this morning, a (Russet) Brown Dolomite - TUJ256R in company with a left hand drive maroon TR6 - CHJ111G.

Later, on the A21 near Sevenoaks, a very tidy TR7 - DTJ191Y and a bit later still, a Herald convertible LLA...D at the top of the A2 near Eltham.

Also earlier in the week I spotted a blue Triumph Toledo BGC164S but can't remember where...! It would've been somewhere between Maidstone & Uckfield.

Cheers, Beejay.

Found this Dolly yesterday at Long Marston Dragstrip. From the rad protruding below the numberplate, the shiny something inside the bonnet scoop and the twin stacks at the back, i'd say its probably Rover V8 powered. The car itself is more of a mystery, badge on the front says Sprint, badge on the back says 1500TC, as do the bright headlamp surrounds, but it's got a curved dash. Oh and its Auto!

Anyone want to own up?

Last week we had a meeting at the company. Something different than the MGB club. The one i did like most was the yellow Testarossa. The only car with a decent gearlever and a bit of an oil smell.

And the petrolhead couldn't resist opening the bonnet:

Now he wants to know what it is (or was)... I've no idea, do you?
