my histroic-car spannering started 35years ago with an Alfa Giulia...those cars (Giulia, Sider, GT/J, GTV) suffered from a trampling rear axle.
the original spica-dampers were quite good during their time, replacements existed from Koni (red / adjustable damping), Koni Sports (yellow)...but the biggest improvement to get a better "control" to the rear axle could be achieved by using gas-pressurized Bielstein´s
i´m wondering why there arent any gas-pressurized ones existing for the dolly?
recently i have seen an advert, listing Sprint rear shocks (Unipart) which come with strapped -rod, indicating that those are gas-pressurized....this said: the shocks at ebay do not like made for the Dolomite, as those shocks dont have the necessary spring-platform.:

did the sprint-shocks came from the factory gas-pressurized?
if yes, than pure-oil shocks would be a step back?
