The modified restos thread

#1 Post by Toledo Man »

I've decided to create yet another sticky featuring the ones that have been modified (mostly engine changes).

Carledo's Carlton powered Toledo (Carledo)

lazeruspete's Redtop powered Sprint (KLJ)

toledogav222's RS2000 powered Toledo

dollytom's Ford V6 powered Sprint (the XR4x4)

knightrider150's Nissan powered Sprint

Wuy485m's Fiat twin cam powered Toledo

iandollysprint's Redtop powered Sprint

eightiesflamer's Redtop powered Sprint

jikovron's Rover V8 powered 1500HL

mbellinger's Redtop powered Toledo

DF's seriously modded Sprint

Neil907's track Sprint

Tony Burd's modified Sprint

Mad Mart's track Sprint

Geeksteve's MX5 powered Project Lunacy

Another MX5 conversion done by philgroom

Yet another MX5 conversion of edz27's Toledo

Carledo's modified Sprint auto (AKA Dolomega)

If there are any others worthy of being included let me know and I'll add them.

Yes this one should be included as V8 conversions are often brought up here. This was nicely done but we never did find out if it was actually a practical application;

Darren, I found your thread but it was in the Dolomite-related section so I've moved it to the "resto" section and I've updated my list.
Alan, I did have that one in mind when I started this thread but somehow I missed it.

Isn't there more to modification than dropping a different engine in? Actually, your track Sprint should be included in the list as it is definitely modified. I'll get it added.
