I like what youve done, are you going to box in the sides round the radiator ? so the air is forced through the rad

You could try wire wheels they might look cool, not my thing to much cleaning

All will be boxed in so all the air flow will go though the rads.

Not a fan of wire wheels.

Okay dokie

Rads Oil and main radiator all fully mounted finally.

Supercharger looks like it will fit on its side under the RX8 inlet/throttle body.
Throttle body will be moved to the inlet side of the S/C.
Petitt EShaft pulley lines up reasonable well which is a bonus.

Got a few hours spare tomorrow so should be able to get a temporary bracket made to check its position.
Should be able to grab some photos as well.

Not much of a update really.
Plate all aligned drill and inlet cut out.
Outlet from supercharger will be angled to match the RX8 inlet manifold using a 180degree hose. Worked out the supercharger tensioner.
Supercharger inlet will come over the charger.

Once everything is in place then I can go round and tidy it all up.
Especially the charger plate.

Im liking this build, toyed with 13b conversions for quite a while, and I do have access to a triple 13b shaft if I wanted,

What have you actually got a Triple EShaft or a 13B shaft.
Ones a two piece three rotor the other is a one piece shaft two rotor.

If I was to do this again I would use the 13B from a RX7/4.

There’s more tuning potential with these Peripheral Port engines than the RX8 Renesis engine multi side port.

Mounting adapters and mounts for the engine off the shelf.
There’s adapters to run carbs.
Aftermarket ECU to run the ignition or full injection set up if you wanted to the the injection system.
The only problem is the exhaust comes out the offside which can/could foul the steering shaft column.

There’s more tuning potential with these Peripheral Port engines than the RX8 Renesis engine multi side port.

its a scratch made shaft to run 3x13Bs pastime I saw it it was wrapped in the bottom of a drawer waiting for final machining and hardening if it was in tolerance

That would be a interesting swap if going in a Sprint (or Toledo Congratulations)
Sourcing the main parts could be expensive,
Billet Pro down under do some amazing Billet Plates but not for the RX8.
Centre plate must have a bearing to stop the EShaft from whipping,
To stop the rotors self destructing against the housing.

How did you come by the EShaft?..

E shaft, bored one weekend, and got a good friend to write a rough programme for a new mill, yes a mill, and its so very close to where it should be, end plates I dont think are a problem

Not much of any update really.

Just ordered a few more bits,
Including a pair of Stainless Steel silencer boxes that should sit where the original Sprint boxes went.

Roll on the new year and hopefully warmer weather.

Didn’t touch the Sprint in January.

Silencers boxes that I ordered have gone back ordered.

Picking up some steering column U/Js tomorrow morning so should be able to get the Steering sorted.

I’ve taken the Supercharger off at the moment and will run it N/A

Then fit it later on once the car is running and driving say possibly over a winter project.
With the rebuilt engine.

Also going to run the Rotary engine with the factory ECU
Leaving it separate from the main Sprint electrics.
