Welcome to the Forum :bluewave:
Sadly it may be the case that having been off the road for so many years, the car may no longer exist. However, never say never - it may be locked away in a barn somewhere, awaiting restoration. Good luck with your search.

The plate rings a bell...was this the green Sprint that received some silver 'chequer board' paintwork?

I would join as many 'general' classic car Facebook pages as possible (if you're really keen to find it) and you may just get lucky on one of them.

Bad news I'm afraid; historic ownership lists from 1995 have it owned by a David Lonnon somewhere in the Midlands, but unfortunately the registration has an asterisk next to it indicating the car being known to have been scrapped. Sorry.
