Have any other members noticed the interest shown in classics by younger drivers? 8)
More to the point they like our cars too. 8)

I'm 19 so I guess that includes me!

My current car is the Imp, but I'm hoping to have a dolly within the next week or so, and my 17th birthday present was **sort of** a Sunbeam Rapier fastback! (Mum didn't know about it so it got sold before I got the chance to drive it or even get an insurance quote!)

Classics rooooool! I have a bet going with my uncle that I won't own a modern car for at least ten years....

Maybe it's something to do with new cars having no real character!

For me though it was my uncles fault he had Dolomites and I loved the smell, the wood and the overdrive!

My first one was an 1850 in vermillion.....

I'm 36 at the end of the month. It is nice to see younger people interested in, and indeed buying these cars. They are fantastic in every flavour. :D

I'm 19 so I guess I'm young? After driving a 1 litre Micra for a week I've come to the conclusion that you can indeed drive whilst asleep! It is so boring, if it wasnt for the radio I would of put it in to a ditch for a giggle....

Dolomites taxxed again and the fun is back!

Get rid of the micra Adam and get yourself a 1300.

£60 to insure with the mods! 230 miles and still have half a tank of gas indicated!

Bags of character to ensure you don't fall asleep! :D

Mine is on a multi car policy....

Roughly speaking I pay £300 per year on 5 cars.

I think with my insurance the dolomite has to be a second car, which it is. The Micra is the main one. So I cant imagine I can have a multi policy (for only a few £more) when I use one of the cars everyday....
