carb mounts
Not only that. perished carb mounts let in air and weaken the mixture under load from the throtle cable. had it on my car, tried everything else until I rested my hand on the carbs and spotted the cracks.

In answer to your question Malc this link should sort you out. I use it at work for finishing the compressor blabes on the aircraft engines. I started with 1800 grade then 3200 both with wd40 (keep it wet). Then wipe over clean, and finally a quick go over with autosol or something similar. My ...

Richie, Did I mention when I talked to you about the micromesh to use it wet, with wd40 or something similar then a final rub over with some abrasive metal polish.<br>
