Sierra brake conversion

Thanks,

That certainly looks like a neat installation, I'm OK going to scrapyards, sending bits off for machining and rebuilding callipers- but who made those mounting brackets for you? - they look difficult (not to mention expensive) I'd be really interested in having a look at your setup ...

Sierra brake conversion.

Hi, Sprint's going well, not blown up yet, but I really could do with stopping it. I believe that you can do a Sierra conversion? Anyone got any experience/ web links?
Cam, webber, ratio and subframe mounting advice needed!

Point taken! I've got receipts for all the bits, the last owner had the car for 8 years and bought it off his best mate who got all the work done. I did make a point of examining to see if it looked like the top end had been touched recently- spannered head nuts etc- but no sign of any movement. It ...

Thanks Graham,

Do you use that cam? If so what chokes and jetting do you use? Also any idea if the intermediate ratios I quoted are correct?
James.

Cam, webber, ratio and subframe mounting advice needed!

Hi,

following my "new sprint" post a month or so ago I've finally managed to pick it up and put a few miles on it.

Basically it goes very well indeed- it's running 45's, a stage three Triumphtune head, a piper cam and other goodies. I've checked ou the piper cam profile and it ...

Bank balance, marriage etc....

'New' Sprint.

Just a quick post to let you guys know that ther's a new sprint on the block. I've had a standard (rusty) one for years but couldn't pass up the tidy modified one I found for sale in S Wales recently.

Spec seems to be similar to Smifter's.
Stage 3 TT head, twin 45s, electric f/pump ...
